Terms of use

1. What this is

Haminja is a personal AI companion and a space for meeting people, for Persian speakers abroad, running inside Telegram. The service is free. We may later offer optional paid extras; we will never take your data as payment.

2. Minimum age

• In the European Union: 18 years (per Telegram's Terms of Service).
• Outside the EU: 15 years. Users aged 15 to 17 use a separate pool, friendship mode only, with the protections described on the Safety page.
• Age is checked with date of birth and selfie-based age estimation. Misstating your age closes the account permanently.

3. Your account

• One person, one account, real identity. Selfie verification is mandatory before any introduction.
• Accounts cannot be transferred or sold. You are responsible for what is sent from your account.
• You can wipe your account completely at any time with /wipe.

4. Community rules

• Be yourself: no fake profiles, no other people's photos, no false age or identity.
• Be respectful: harassment, threats, insults, and hate based on ethnicity, religion, orientation or gender have no place here.
• No sexual content towards a user under 18. This means immediate and permanent closure of the account and, where the law requires, a report to the authorities.
• Sexual content between adults only with both sides' consent; unsolicited images are prohibited.
• No scams: asking for money, gifts, investments or financial details is prohibited.
• No publishing other people's data: never post screenshots, photos or life details of other users anywhere. For our community this is a red line.
• No commercial use, advertising, spam or bots.
• No attempts to find someone's exact location or to bypass the system's protections.

5. Enforcement

Breaking the rules leads to a warning, restrictions, suspension or permanent closure. In cases involving under-18s or serious threats, without warning. A hashed tombstone of the Telegram ID of closed accounts is kept for 1 year so they cannot return with a new account. You can appeal decisions via safety@haminja.club.

6. The companion

The companion is an AI and always says so. Its suggestions (introductions, message drafts) are only suggestions; the decision and the sending are yours. It can make mistakes. Do not rely on it for major life, medical, legal or financial decisions.

7. Your content

Your content is yours. You only allow us to process it to run the service and show it to the users you choose. We do not publish it, sell it, or use it to train AI. Details on the privacy page.

8. Liability

Haminja introduces people; we do not know them and cannot guarantee their behaviour. Selfie verification reduces the chance of a fake profile but does not make it zero. The service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the extent the law allows. Take the precautions on the Safety page seriously at any in-person meeting.

9. Changes and governing law

Significant changes are announced in the bot at least 14 days in advance. Governing law is the law of [[ENTITY_COUNTRY]]; consumer rights of your country of residence remain unaffected.
